Northern Cyprus New Ercan Airport Opened!

Ercan Aiport - Nicosia / While the new airport will have more passenger capacity, it will serve with wider and more spacious social areas. The airport, which has a new runway of 3,100 meters compared to the existing runway of 2 thousand 755 meters, has become available for the use of all models of passenger aircraft.

Ercan Airport, which has a total of 30 aircraft parking areas, 9 of which are bellows and 21 of which are open, will provide services with its 1500 vehicle capacity indoor car park and state-of-the-art new equipment. The airport will also make a significant contribution to tourism and the economy.

The new Ercan Airport, built with the build-operate-transfer model, cost 400 million Euros.
