The statement said:
“We invite the international community to put an end to the persecution of the Turkish Cypriots, who are trying to be separated from the world with embargoes, in contradiction with the principles of the United Nations, and to officially recognize the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as soon as possible.”
